What began as Sean’s first computing experience on an Apple IIe in his kindergarten class led to his first Gateway 2000 computer at 13 years old, playing with MS DOS commands. Much to his parent’s chagrin, he deleted Windows to free up hard drive space so the Wolfenstein 3D floppies could be installed and run faster. And because Gateway was across the river and Berkshire Hathaway about an hour south, combining his love of numbers, business, and computing drove him to study Mathematics and Actuarial Science during his undergraduate years.
Sean was heavily recruited by many Tier 1 insurance and human capital firms and interned for PricewaterhouseCooper’s new startup, Unifi Network. At 19 years old, he found himself in the Board rooms of some of the most well-known consumer and industrial brands, including Pepsi and Dana Corp. This is where he learned the subtle art of Advising the most experienced and intelligent business men and women in the world.
Since then, he’s turned around former SEC-investigated public companies, and generated the largest deals in the Augmented Reality industry. He’s spoken in front of thousands of Silicon Valley peers, and helped other companies raise capital. He’s fixed cultures, restarted video platform sales through the power of UX redesign (two $1M deals immediately after go-live), and understands that adaptable Connectomic AI is the answer to self-driving’s Level 5 brick wall.
His work has been featured in Fortune, CNBC, Digiday, HuffPo, Bloomberg, The Information, Medium, The Next Web, Pando Daily, and TechCrunch, amongst others.
He is the Founder & CEO of PROME, the only company in the world to successfully emulate the brain and nervous system of animals into software and robotics, the Founder of Everett Advisors and Humanizing Tech’s think tank.
Sean previously founded a Private Equity firm, a company that invented an emotionally intelligent robot entirely in software, a high frequency algorithmic trading firm using neural networks on AWS in 2007, and worked as an executive at companies in the gamification and social video product space.
In 2015, he decided it was time to share everything he had learned on his entrepreneurial journeys with other practitioners and formalized Humanizing Tech’s think tank and then Everett Advisors around a few basic tenets: better products, trustworthy relationships, and long-term investments.
