Agreed it just felt like an afterthought.
It almost feels like they were ready with this and the team is proud of it but nobody wanted it to overshadow the iPhone. Clearly that’s important as the iPhone is 75% or more of their revenue but this is the first time I’ve seen a truly compelling new product category, more so than the Apple Watch, get almost no love.
I bet next year with VR it will be a much bigger part of the game. This first year is about getting it out in the world and fixing any issues that come up before the big reveal.
