The Forbes owned AI-driven stock & ETF investment business (robo-advisor) needed help building and growing a consumer investing app in a competitive market regulated by the SEC. They struggled with product design, product category fit and strategic presence as well as overall brand positioning. The Founder reached out for our help.


Challenge

Our first step was addressing product functionality and experience, diving in deep to rebuild and design most tools to be more user-friendly and visually compelling. We hired and led a product team, including engineers, to complete the build in six months. During that time, we knew a key component to the success of the product was its messaging and brand presence. So we got to work on a completely new verbal identity with all new, modernized, verbal architecture.

Enter Investment Kits: Category or trend themed ETF & individual stock portfolios that allowed users to build a robust and strategic portfolio in seconds. We took the complicated world of hedge fund management and simplified both its learning curve and typically exclusive entry point. Now, with both Signature and Limited Edition Investment Kits, we created a product that “powered a personal wealth movement,” reducing barriers and friction in the outdated portfolio building process.
